People in slum areas did not have enough shelter to protect themselves from sun-scorching heat of about 45 degrees. Arpan distributed Around 400 Sun kits to beggars and labourers on various roads of Ahmedabad.
At the time of cash crunch due to ban on 500/1000 Rupees notes, when labourers were unable to receive their daily wages, it had become difficult for them to sustain. Arpan had a detailed discussion regarding the guidelines and execution protocols for vaccination programme with the president of Ahmedabad Medical Association, Dr. Darbar. This programme was successfully carried out by providing vaccination and hygiene kit to around 483 girls. Dr. Darbar also offered to vaccinate 5 government schools of Mumbai.
